By choosing to collaborate with the Company, you agree to these terms. The Company specializes in book writing and publishing services, as detailed on our website. Service prices are subject to periodic adjustments.
TO STAY INFORMED ABOUT OUR SERVICES, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REGULARLY ACCESS OUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT PORTAL, MAINTAIN AN ACCURATE MAILING ADDRESS, AND ENSURE YOU ARE SUBSCRIBED TO OUR MAILING LIST WITH A VALID EMAIL.
A) Terms of Service
As a client author with the Company, you will benefit from:
- A dedicated Project Manager serving as your primary contact until 30 days post-publication. Afterward, all interactions will occur via our project management platform.
- Full ownership of your material and any assigned ISBNs, including all created files upon complete payment.
- Complete oversight of the file development process.
- 100% of royalties from your material's sales. Details on print and eBook royalty calculations can be discussed with your Project Manager.
- Monthly sales updates in your author dashboard, sourced from chosen publishing platforms.
- The option to purchase your book at author cost and have it shipped globally. Orders are final once submitted.
- Guarantee that we will not disclose your manuscript or intellectual property to third parties, except distribution partners or for social media promotion.
- Assurance that you hold or control the rights to your material, and you agree to cover any costs from claims contradicting this, or related to publication.
- For installment payments, automatic deductions on the same date monthly until fully paid. We may pause distribution with notice if payments are missed.
- The ability to remove your material from sale at any time, except for reconsiderations.
- A satisfaction promise for file-creation services (excluding editing and marketing). If unsatisfied, we'll revise until you are or refund your payment.
- Approval of files signifies satisfaction, including covers, layouts, and illustrations.
- No refunds after 120 days from signup.
B) Author Code of Conduct
In your partnership with the Company, you commit to:
- Maintaining respectful and professional communication.
- Avoiding abusive, harmful, or inappropriate language.
- Combining emails where feasible.
- Appointing one spokesperson for projects with multiple contributors.
- Adhering to our production schedules, noting that your responsiveness, project complexity, and requests may impact timelines.
- Following our communication guidelines:
- Project Managers respond to emails within 1-2 business days.
- Production Team delivers file drafts in 6-9 business days.
- For Premium Authors: Calls with your Project Manager require scheduling.
C) The Company's Rights and Obligations
We may decline any manuscript or withdraw any book from distribution if it:
- Promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Is entangled in legal conflicts with third parties.
- Poses a risk to our brand, at our discretion.
We may end our relationship for breaches of the Author Code of Conduct. Upon termination, files will be returned per Paragraph A(2), and you may republish elsewhere.
We may offset outstanding balances against your royalties. If a balance remains, we may pursue collection.
Distribution is complete when we provide your material to partners. We bear no liability for rejections, delays, or errors by partners.
Author Copy service concludes upon handover to a carrier. We are not liable for losses, damages, delays, or deviations from estimates. Defective prints will be refunded or replaced per policy.
We will notify you via email or dashboard of cost changes from partners. We collaborate with third parties for printing and distribution, with no control over their updates. Authors retain full royalties.
We may update this Agreement with notice through your dashboard or email.
D) Additional Considerations:
Disputes related to these Terms must be resolved in courts of appropriate jurisdiction. You agree to their authority.
In any dispute, the winning party may recover reasonable legal fees and costs.
